Listen free to Kendrick Lamar DAMN. and more. 14 tracks 54:54. is the fourth studio album by Kendrick Lamar. It received widespread critical acclaim and debuted at 1 on the US Billboard 200, earning Lamar his third consecutive number-one album in the United States. Album 2017 14 Songs. So when DAMN. opens with a seemingly innocuous line-So I was taking a walk the other day -we're all ears. The gunshot that abruptly ends the track is a signal: DAMN. is a grab-you-by-the-throat declaration thats as blunt, complex, and unflinching as the name suggests. Kendrick Lamars third major release album, was expected April 7th after Kendrick Lamar rapped these lines on The Heart Part 4 : Y'all got til April the 7th to get y'all shit together. A Mike WiLLKendrick Lamar collaboration was reinforced when a HipHopDX staff member stated that a song titled DNA produced by Mike WiLL Made-It will appear on the album. He also spoke about how the project will contain somewhere around 12 tracks, and feature a more commercial sound , as opposed to Kendricks last two projects-To Pimp A Butterfly and untitled feature a jazz-influenced sound. Its been two years since Kendrick Lamars To Pimp a Butterfly, and we are not alright. Bold, organized racism is ascendant. Military conflict seems inevitable. Environmental decay cant be far off. Doom hangs on the air. Butterfly was a record about weathering bad times and the chain reaction between faith, hope, and change. Alright tapped old slave spirituals steely resolve, providing a sense that time could be bided, and trials overcome through patience. Through belief. In church, youre told that Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But what ha. Kendrick Lamar has already taken hip-hop to the outer galaxies of style, sound and resonance. Protesters in Chicago, Cleveland, Oakland and New York took to the streets singing his 2015 single Alright like it was the new We Shall Overcome. If To Pimp a Butterfly was the best rap album in 2015, Damn. is the platonic ideal of the best rap album of 1995, a dazzling display of showy rhyme skills, consciousness-raising political screeds, self-examination and bass-crazy-kicking. Kendrick has many talents pop star, avant-garde poet, lyrical gymnast, storyteller. Black Panther The Album. Music From And Inspired By. Kendrick Lamar, SZA. Kendrick Lamar. The Heart Part 4. 2017 сингл. Don't Wanna Know. If Kendrick Lamar felt pressure to continue living up to his previous output, there's no evidence on DAMN. He's too occupied tracing the spectrum of his mental states, from boxin' demons to flex on swole, questioning and reveling in his affluence, castigating and celebrating his bloodline, humble enough to relate his vulnerabilities, assured enough to proclaim Ain't none of y'all fuckin' with the flow

Found #00400 at Best Buy yesterday. Four Hundred even. Pumped about that.
The US version is numbered from 0 to 15000 ? This is an error in the Discogs notes !
This autographed edition has some serial number that makes the difference? How to differentiate it from a possible falsification?
Does anyone have a confirmed number of how many copies of this were released? Mines 82,137. Last one they had. Maybe 100k?
When my copy came through the post directly from Kendrick Lamar's website, some silly beggar had scrawled a letter "K" on the front in permanent black marker, which was annoying to say the least. Luckily it was on the T-shirt part of the photo. So I was able to use some Tippex whiteout to get rid of it, and it looks ok now. Did anyone else have a similar experience?
Dude I can not believe you just removed his autograph
Does anyone with this issue have or notice problems in the song Loyalty ?. problems with bass and sampling or base?
Does anyone else have a version of this that doesn't have the A and B side? Mine has two discs of the C and D.
Mine is just over 15k.. does that mean mine was pressed within the first few hundred on the EU master?Or did US print 30k and send 15k to EU ?
Is this pressing a gatefold copy? The Europe pressing mentions the gatefold but this one doesn't.
yes it is a gatefold issue as far as I know.
One of the best pressings I've ever heard. Tight, clean, dimensional, crisp bass, dynamic vocals and instrumentals. Beautiful harmony of treble to bass. This is the way rap/hip/rnb should sound.Super happy with this. More outfits need to take notes from the way this album is mastered and manufactured.
Question for the room, any idea how I ended up with #07263 delivered by Amazon here in Austin, TX? I thought <15k was UK release.
i have 1000+, the notation in discogs seems incorrect. probably reversed
The Sinners from Mitar
I got #03846 delivered direct to Seattle so who knows…
My copy is #04989 and came from a Barnes & Noble in Miami, FL.
Got #00911, which I'm very excited about, but the clear vinyl really shines both musically & visually. Very satisfied with my purchase!
#29001. Great pressing and very satisfied with the sound. Awesome record too!
Hip-hop music is easily my most-listened-to genre. I won't say it's my favorite, because I do appreciate other genres just as much and frequently listen to all sorts of music, but I do listen to more of it than pretty much anything else. With that said, I usually stay away from the "mainstream" hip-hop artists and rappers.. I know that makes me sound like an arrogant hipsters, but it is what it is; I've found that I generally enjoy underground "alt-rap" more than what is usually popular. I vibe with conscious hip hop more than anything. It doesn't have to be blatantly outspoken or activist-style, but I can't get down with ignorance. Kendrick doesn't have an ounce of ignorance in his entire beautiful mind. I was reluctant to listen to Kendrick Lamar for a long time, mainly because of his use of "the 'n' word" and my false preconception that his beats would sound like every other high-profile rapper. I wish I had looked into him sooner because he is an absolute genius. After being awarded the first Music-Category Pulitzer for a type of music besides jazz or classical, I decided he warranted a thorough, open-minded listen. This man's ability to tell a story through lyrics is unparalleled in the upper rungs of the hip-hop industry and his meditation on the crisis of humanity that America's impoverished communities face needs to be listened to be everyone.
#26207 here. This was such a good pressing. King Kendrick
I really wish he would have called the record something else. I had to cover up the swear with duct tape so that my mom wouldn't see it but at least it's still got the cool autograph! good record, bad title!
It seems thoughtful of you to respect your parent's wish for decency, so do not listen to these mindnumbed commentators. However, your avatar does cast doubts on your intentions.
No son, use 3M painters tape (the blue stuff) - that or gaffing tape. Both are more expensive than the duct tape, but they don't leave a residue on the jackets and they still hide the naughty parts of your precious vinyls from the prying eyes of your evangelical parents or even "the man" if he happens to stop through unannounced. When you move out of the basement and get your own pad you can just peel the tape off and let your phreak flag fly. DAMN Mom!
son next time just buy imagine dragons and none of this hippity-hoppity b.s. now get ready for church
Nothing personal
That duct tape residue on that sleeve would make me cringe
Lolwut? Damn. was awarded a Pulitzer prize- that alone should be enough for parents, even the most evangelical, socially conservative, or anyone else who is offended by and/or against the use of "vulgarity."
#28794 signing in! This is such a good pressing with the cover of the same quality as the original.
Listening to #01395 Collector’s Edition on clear vinyl. Smooth and now I know why this kid is on top of the world. Haven’t heard anything this good since Chronic, 99 Prob, and Marky Mark, or Run The Jewels.
as a hip hop fan for a long time, this is in my top 10. This album start to finish is incredible and really a game changer in terms of setting the bar for the present day. This is quite possibly the best hip hop album in the past 10 years. Incredible thought provoking lyrics, bumping a** beats, hidden messages, deep content. I've played my album tens of times and hear something new every spin. Kendrick has proven hes one of the best with tupac, biggie, mf doom, tribe, outkast....hes up there.
If this is, as I keep reading, limited to 15,000 copies, how did I get #27,720? Otherwise, it’s cool and unique enough to warrant the investment.
Maybe it was 150,000? The pictures show at least 78,000, and mine is 82,000
Disc one of my copy is full of non-fill. Ultra bad, waiting on a new copy to see if its just a one off.
so many questions...why is this a collectors edition when theres more than 20k out there? why rearrange the tracks? why does this exist?
Despite some of the negative comments below, I think it's genius! If Kendrick or anyone did this 10 years ago it probably wouldn't sell; unless your a big fan of the art and the artist you're not going to buy the same songs twice just to listen to it in reverse. However these days most people pay $9.99/month for the album whether they listen to it or not, so why not as an artist play around with the order and therefore the overall feeling of the album? It's not a money grab, it's just art; if you like the painting you take it home.
That's a bit weird, because my EU version is numbered 16166...

I don't support this gimmick release and frankly the only reason which these kind of releases exist is because vinyl-hobby is such a smash hit nowadays and labels throw some shitty "limited collectors edition" records for a quick cash-grab. We can only blame us, the vinyl collectors, who support these joke-releases (all of us have trapped -even once- in the "limited" catch). Btw, in any case you're still curious, this release is numbered to 30.000 copies, 15.000 EU made and 15.000 US made. The US ones are numbered from 15.000 to 30.000.
Lamar told that the tracks actually tell a story if played in the reverse order. So this version the the story in its proper order.
Just got mine and listened to disc 1, which sounded great. Disc 2 however was pretty damn warped, so that the center of the record points up in the air and it's slightly bowl shaped. Needless to say Im sort of disappointed so I'll have to see about getting a replacement. Update: Amazon was kind enough to send another copy, and Im pretty satisfied with this pressing, it's got a nice depth to it. I noticed the track DNA stands out as sounding a bit different from the digital version, but that might just be me
Slowly writer
My copy (US) has a warped second disc as well, unfortunately. I had it pressed under a book at the moment hoping that will flatten it out.
My EU copy, bought in Sweden, was also warped. Damn.
I'm pretty sure this isn't limited to 15,000 copies. Unless they started the numbering higher up. For example the image uploaded for this release displays it in the region of 21+k and beyond. My copy was numbered in the 19k's
My copy is in the 300's so they didn't start from a higher number.
I just picked up a copy this afternoon and noticed something weird. My hand written number is 25049, but this release is supposed to be limited to 15000. Is this an error or is the run larger than 15000? I'd post a photo here but don't think I can.
Where’d you get yours? Mine is low at 01395. I’m in Truckee, CA and drove to Reno Best Buy to not buy vinyl, but they had a decent selection and only cost me $28.99. Wondering if they’re distributed from a pressing plant out West and the album # correlates with the distance? Beatles ‘White Album’ under or near #1,000 makes it that much more expensive. White Album by Beatles #00003 went for a couple million, I believe. It’s the order they came off the press and as vinyl is pressed more you get very slight difererences.
15.000 are for Euope and 15.000 for the US, it's a total of 30.000whats strange: the European Version is to 15.000 and the US form 15.001 to 30.000
jaydoggg Mine is 21071, I thought that was a bit strange also, I'd be interested in finding the answer to that one as well! I saw a copy in my local shop that was # 29000-something. Seems sketchy that they’d limit it to 15k and just input random numbers.
Rich Vulture
Mine is 21071, I thought that was a bit strange also, I'd be interested in finding the answer to that one as well!
Just got my US clear vinyl copy. Hand numbered on the back. Cheap paper sleeves which sould be replaced right away as they'll scratch the record each time it's removed or inserted. This is a pretty decent pressing, tons of bass, good mastering, and fairly minimal surface noise.
What number? I’m trying to understand how I got #01395 in Reno, NV Best Buy.
You're not joking when you say tons of bass, I actually have to turn the bass knob down a bit to clear things up
Beautiful crystal clear vinyl and alternative B/W artwork - inside and out. Inner paper sleeves came a little wrinkled (not sure if anyone else's did). Hand numbered on the back just like the collectors edition of the CD.
Hand numbered, listening to disc 1 and it sounds great!
Unfortunately I can hear strange cricket noises already on the first track (Duckworth) of the EU edition which start at around 1min 42sec. Does anyone else have the same problem? Don't know what to do, because from one point of view I was waiting for this edition for a long time. From the other side I have a feeling this sound doesn't belong there and makes me disappointed :/
returned mine. Checked a couple of other "Reversed" versions in the shop and all had the same issue. I guess it is simply the quality of this collectors edition. Checked also red vinyl and it sounded much better.
I'll be getting it in the mail on Monday. If you didn't get any replies by then, I'll let you know if I experience the same!
felt boot
not released yet :) but please post pictures tommorow thanks !
I say this to everyone who complains about sibilance or distortiion.....9 times out of 10, IT'S YOUR STYLUS. It's either not aligned correctly, or you're using a conical stylus (the cheapest kind....which inherently distorts the signal....badly if ithe recording is loud). If you're serious about sound quality, you need at least an elliptical stylus (.4 x .7 is cheap, .3 x .7 is standard and .2 x .7 is the best)....anything better you're getting into audiophile territory....tread lightly
This is a pressing you have to own. Sounds and looks great.
So are they all autographed by Kendrick??? Or was only one autographed and then copied?
This autographed edition has some serial number that makes the difference? How to differentiate it from a possible falsification?
They were all autographed by Kendrick, but the signature is a small K on all of them as pictured.
They were all autographed by hand. Although his autograph is dare I say...well you can look at the picture and decide for yourself.
Why doesn't it say "FT. ZACARI" on the song LOVE.? Kinda weird. Did they forgot to add him?
Shameless money grab from people who bought the whole "2nd album is DAMN played backwards" thing. Don't bother.
Right. Love Kendrick, I respect the hustle....but I ain't no fool. Lol
a racist hipster listens to kendrick ? what a surprise
Awesome quality. Took months to arrive but it finally arrived there at Chile, South America.
I paid $40 for this with shipping included.:/ Why these prices?
I believe the timeframe for ordering this was 48 hours.
Yea, pretty sure (very sure) it was from some time beginning on April 18th through 11:59 PM on April 20th. Might have been the full 48 Hours but regardless, it wasn't a single day or a few hour window like I've heard some people suggest.
No they were not. They were up for weeks. Limited run yes but not 1 day. i waited a few days before ordering.
yeah well...wasn't that limited if a few thousand people own it...
It was very limited. They were only available for purchase for one day only.
Feel like you definitely misunderstood my comment. People are hosing people with these prices.
Exactly. So why are people charging $80 for a mass produced vinyl record. Not that limited.
Autographed limited edition vinyl AND a t-shirt? I think $40 is a pretty good deal...
Water many of these are out there? 2362 people (just on discogs!) have the autographed red vinyl???
Jesus, just got my hands on my copy. The bass is insane, I had my speakers turned all the way up and it made me jump as soon as it dropped on DNA.
Hello everyone, does anyone know if this version includes a download code?
Hey, unfortunately this version does not include the download code...
Got mine today (!)took forever but all is fine now.
This album is a masterpiece. The sound quality of the red vinyl is really great! Sharp and clean. So happy to signed copy from one of the rappers of the world.
Is this official? Looks like also sells a lot of bootleg records (Section 80 for one)...
yes it is. and the quality is very good by the way.
Yes they've confirmed that it's an official release and not a boot.
Is this a home made version? It's the only TDE cassette I've seen before.
Yeah, it's made by channel TAPES. It's a bootleg. At least 10 words must be entered. Please enter at least 1 more.
Yeah it's gotta be a bootleg (At least 10 words must be entered. Please enter at least 4 more.)
Could anyone comment on the differences between this one at the US version? Most importantly does it sound good?
I can confirm this. I listened to the streaming version only and was shocked as I heard the (red european) vinyl version - in a very, very positiv way! I can highly recommend the hhv red vinyl pressing.
I have both versions. Just from a physical aspect, it seems as though the typeface for "DAMN." and Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope label print is a much smaller print than the US version.
It looks and sounds great. I don't have a US-copy, but I think they're pretty much the same.
ssk13 Could anyone comment on the differences between this one at the US version? Most importantly does it sound good? Only difference is the red vinyl used I assume. So if you are really only going for sound then pick the black one. The red is more for collectors.
Yep, sounds and looks really good. Little to no crackle or surface noise. Don't know if there is any difference to the US pressing..
I received my copy yesterday, records are flat and it sounds great. Very happy to have this on vinyl. It has been noted that the vinyl and streaming versions of this LP have a different mix of some songs compared to the CD.
The user is basically saying how the record sleeve can get stuck while trying to "stuff" it back into the gatefold cover on both sides; also how it is the same issue with the good kid m.A.A.d city LP; I can approve of both, swapping the record sleeve can help.
My copy arrived just yesterday (Germany). Was a little worried because tracking seemed to be stuck somewhere on the road in Detroit. Nevertheless the packaging was alright.
If I recall correctly, the company that shipped out these orders doesn't offer tracking for international postage, this is why your tracking would have been stuck in Detroit! I had the same thing with my order of this record, and a couple in the past.
Finally, I received DAMN. today (Europe). If you love hip hop you must definitely buy this album, even in the standard version. As for the vinyl, it came in a perfect condition and of course as it's described by several reviewers here. Personally, I didn't find the first side noisy or something. However, I can say for sure that album's production is superb in any way, the bass is punchy, fat, strong, the bass you need to hear in this kind of music. So no worries about the sound quality of the vinyl. (can't say for sure if it has been mastered especially for the vinyl release tho, I hope so). Enjoy the album! by the way the autograph is legit!
This pressing sounds phenomenal. Sounds super dope on a nice sound system, no sibilance whatsoever. The packaging and the vinyl are also high quality as well.
Received a copy that is so warped it is unplayable. The record is too hot for itself. Submitted a request to receive a new one to TDE, so hopefully I'll be spinning it soon enough.
What did they send for replacement? Was it just a new sealed record minus the signed sleeve?
Mr Freeman
Update: Replacement is still slightly warped, but not nearly as bad as the first copy. Haven't tried to play it yet, but fingers are crossed.
Yup. Both of the discs are extremely warped for me too, waiting for support to answer.
recieved mine today and it is also warped. Both LP's are slightly warped but the first is really bad
As there is no much music talking in this section and after 20-25 listenings my fave track goes to Pride. So sensitive, sick intro, mastermind flow, please everyone let me know. Maybe I wasn't there.
Does anyone know how many copies of this version were pressed?
That number was increased. I think they were at 3000 copies last time I looked into it.
i was wondering that too and i have made a post here. Can you please provide the website you read that ? i guess by the way it could be more than 1000 copies. Thank you!
finally got my shipping e-mail today (27th july) don't worry if you still haven't got it.
You better be checking your system if you think this pressing sounds bad. Beautiful packaging, with full sound and artwork quality. All the levels, especially the bass, are clear, and worth noting there's no distortion on the vocals like some people are reporting.
My copy has no playing issues and sounds fantastic. Zero vocal distortion and great full sound with the album generously spaced out over 2 discs. This is the kind of pressing that Kendrick albums deserve. Oh, and my cover artwork is not blurry at all. In fact I think it's really cool how the letters in "DAMN" are glossy and have a different texture. Definitely not my favorite album ever from Kendrick, but still probably at the top of my album of the year list so far. I'm not sure what made him think his vocals in "LOVE" or "GOD" sounded good (I cannot keep a straight face when he whines "I wanna be with you", or for really any of GOD), but aside from those 2 tracks this album is incredibly solid. Obviously DNA, HUMBLE, ELEMENT, YAH, and XXX are dope tracks, but don't sleep on FEAR or LUST, two of my favorites. Also a shoutout to DUCKWORTH at the end for a really catchy laid-back, old-school beat and fantastic story-telling. Kendrick keeps holding it down in the midst of a lot of thoughtless rap, and I love him for it. I just hope he doesn't get too angry and bummed out by the world around him, as this album suggests might be happening.
Is there only a red vinyl pressing of this or is there a black one also?
There's a black as well, probably the one you'll find in the wild
there is a "regular", non limited 180g black one too
Finally received my copy, came as described, 1 Red 180g 2LP Vinyl sealed, then an empty jacket signed by K.Dot. After receiving Untitled.Unmastered signed, I was expecting another unsealed signed copy. Haven't opened or played the record yet, but if I do I am likely going to discard the unsigned cover.
I'm planning to frame the signed sleeve and use the unsigned sleeve to store the record. It's really unusual and generous for the record label to send 2 separate jackets like this.
If anyone in Denver can't make his show at the Pepsi Center, I'd be willing to trade my copy for two tickets. ...Worth a shot :(

Lol, you people are shameless. 500 plus dollars for a 50 dollar bundle that hasn't even finished shipping out yet? And so many people on here already own it, its not like it was a RSD release. The autographed copy of untitled unmastered has been 30 dollars for forever. I just don't understand...
Untitled was not on colored LP. This pressing DAMN is, which makes it more desirable than just a black LP & an autograph. Not saying I agree with the $500 charge but to answer your questions, hints why.
not sure about everyone else, mine arrived on the 22nd
Mine hasn't even arrived yet. Got tracking info a few days ago that says a shipping label was created, but it hasn't even left yet. Did some people get them already or are people selling copies that they don;t even have in their possession yet?
I'm in the US and I haven't received my copy yet nor have I received an email saying it was shipped. We're only midway through July so hopefully it'll ship soon. Update: I finally got an email yesterday (7/17/17) saying my ordered has shipped via usps w/ tracking number.
Same here, have not received any communication on this since placing the order. US buyer
I live in the U.S. and havnt gotten mine either or even an email saying it shipped. Getting nervous my order didnt go through
Anyone else have slight distortion on the vocals of ELEMENT? It's slight, but noticeable.
I noticed the same thing throughout the whole album. Sounds hollow and distorted to me, not as much bass at the digital release.
Just got mine delivered today and Elements has that slight distortion on tha vocals on mine also. The vocals on DNA sound slightly robotic on my copy did you notice anything like that on yours?
Unbelievable poor cover art here, not in the way you would expect. Someone has taken the CD cover and just stretched it across the 12" cover. Looks like a bootleg. Very poor indeed. Not played it yet, going back for a replacement as side C and D are scratched
Still waiting on my bundles to arrive. Hopefully, tomorrow. Had this Pre-Ordered since April. Live in the States.
they emailed me a shipping notification and tracking # before i got it...
Hi all, anyone in the UK received their copy yet?

I haven't heard of or received my copy yet, any news on your copy?
I live in Belgium, order placed on 19/04 and haven't received anything (or even received an email saying it's been shipped). To be fair, they said it's expected to ship in July 2017 and we're only halfway :(
EU version is out there. Who cut and pressed the EU vinyl?
I have yet to receive mine and I live here in the U.S. Good luck.

Rolling Flipper

Some dude is literally selling just the signed sleeve lol
Might as well if people will buy it I guess lol
Did anyone received the DAMN Limited Edition Autographed Vinyl + T-shirt + Digital Album × 1 Package ?
Vinz_KHF Did anyone received the DAMN Limited Edition Autographed Vinyl + T-shirt + Digital Album × 1 Package ? Yes, my order with the shirt and autographed red vinyl arrived today (7/26).
is this the cd version that has differences from the final version(which is on streaming sites and newer cds), cause it's basically the leaked version
I believe it is! This is the version I own and my CD is missing the entire phone call from Kendrick's cousin and several of the DJ tags.
My copy sounds really clean on both records. No apparent noise.
Were you guys given tracking numbers on your orders or did these just unexpectedly arrive?
yea, no email here, just came out of the blue
I received an email about a week and a half ago with a link to the tracking #. Received my copy on Wednesday 6/21
is there a sound difference between this and the red vinyl? also, I thought this is a polydor release?
side A is pretty noisy. wondering if it will clear up with a good record cleaner. I wasn't expecting much w/ re to mastering. if you want a good example of quality record production look no further than TPAB. That being said, this pressing is about what I expected. 3.5/5
Recently upgraded my speakers and stylus. The record sounds pretty decent, still some slight static on track 1 but the rest of the record is solid. The low frequencies on this record might not be so forgiving on sub par systems.
Yeah I cleaned my side A quite a few times and some surface noise was always present in the first few minutes of the side. All the other sides are fine tho.
My copy is a little noisy on the first side so far. Sounds pretty good though! Lots of bass.
My preorder copy arrived today. Very nicely done. Comes with a shrink wrapped edition of the album, as well as a second copy of the sleeve that is autographed. A nice touch, so you can decide to display one rather than store the album if you wish.Record is flat, free of any defects, and sounds spectacular. The red color looks vibrant and clean, not to mention that the gatefold and artwork is nicely done. An awesome thing to own!
Both LPs on mine definitely are not flat (mainly A side), but sound quality is great!
To clarify, there is only one copy of the album. The autograph is simply on a second, empty gatefold allowing you to choose to store the records in the autographed sleeve, or in the clean one.
can somebody speak to the rarity of this? I feel like it should be everywhere
I don't think it was a limited quantity, but they took orders for the signed red vinyl for about a week and then stopped offering it. So if you didn't purchase it you're shit outta luck unless you wanna pay some of these flippers $299.99 for a vinyl that was once sold at $30.
The autographed edition was an exclusive to Kendrick's webstore, and to my recollection it was available on preorder for about two days before the availability was changed. I'm not sure how many were pressed or autographed, however.
great ant
If someone knows how many copies have been pressed, please let us all know :) cheers :)

Does anyone know how many copies of this were sold?
There's thousands of copies of this about to be released, though they won't have the autographed sleeve.

How does this already have a rating, the vinyl hasn't been released yet lol
Ah wow... I see that is so. That is quite a surprise
I received a copy just yesterday, TDE made shipments last week
Actually yeah it's out already, people have been posting pictures on social media and mine is set to arrive on Monday. TDE surprised everyone and had this ready early and anticipated.
This looks funny 7 more 5 more 3 more 1
This whole album is coded. The cover and the lyrics. Be careful what you let in your ear & eye holes.
I guess only a small percent of us notice the programming. Not a conspiracy theory when it seems so obvious.

Sure... first off I have an original CD copy - so that's the mix I'm talking about.Compare it to "TPAB" - not even close - period. What I will compare is the mixing of the frequencies between 0-200Hz. Listen to DNA - and without cutting any low end - you tell me the sub analog bass drum samples aren't clipping... especially when the beat changes mid-song - then it is beyond brutal. This track could be so dope - but I can't even listen to it (BECAUSE I CAN'T CRANK IT). While it is my opinion the mix is overall bad - there is no denying the sub bass on DNA is awful. If you want to hear clean crispy 808 style analog bass mixes - listen to any record out of Miami in the 90s.Anyway - the 9th Wonder track is the best mix on the record.
Which specific track(s) are you talking about? I genuinely think the mix on this album is incredible compared to most hip-hop records period.
Even though I celebrate his other works - the mastering and/or recording engineer is an idiot - the album is so below average compared to his others and the mix is basically unlistenable with my system... anyway - I don't care what the coded message is. I shouldn't have to turn my stereo down twice in the same track because it is mixed like ass. Nothing too fancy, but I do have about 5k worth of car audio (2 10" JL 10w6) - handles everything on the planet except this clipped piece of funk. This is what happens when you rush an album.
Do you care to elaborate on your conspiracy theory? Maybe some proof or....
can someone add the vinyl version ? and there is only the autographed version or a normal version will come out ?
The vinyl version was removed since it has not physically been released yet. When it ships out and someone has it in hands it can then be added.

Also interested in the vinyl copy, feel free to message me I would pay a good price.
Interested in a copy of the vinyl if anyone has one they'd be willing to sell.
A lot of relevant lyrics on this album, like usual, but it's much more directly focused at honesty and brutal, deep, human conditions. Impressed at times by his variety of vocal delivery, shifting the mood by half-singing, for example, or talking in a naive or tired or angry manner. Personally I love live musicians and colorful instrumentation (samples or not), but there are a lot of collaborators here, so it rarely gets too boring in the rhythm section. Good album. Worth a listen. Should appeal to most of us weak, sad, strong humans.Love the cover. It really sums it up. "That's what Ameri(ca)/a mirror does..."
Please notify if anyone would like to sell the new LP signed or not at an affordable price to Sweden.
leonthepro Please notify if anyone would like to sell the new LP signed or not at an affordable price to Sweden. If you see this you should know that I cant see replys to my comment for some reason. Does anyone know about a vinyl? :) Thank you !
Here you go man, autographed and everything on his website
You can pre-order the vinyl here: https://shop.kendricklamar.comon sale until 11:59pm ET
Just pre-ordered the autographed 2xLP on red vinyl. So excited to have this masterpiece on wax. I for one would like to say thank you to Kendrick Lamar for putting up information and at least a pre-order so quickly after release--and for not pricing it absurdly high. Frank Ocean should take notice (Blonde).
True. Also another big note is that his official site ships USPS Media Mail for $5 rather than some ridiculas postage that costs as much as the vinyl. Others should take notice on that too.
GOT THAT VINYL PRE-ORDER. Need to hear it on wax ASAP
Hey Mike ???????? not only am I getting it, but I am get 2 ✌ UR in the backseat right now Eyyyy
Anybody knows if there's a vinyl release planned in a near future?
Yes, it should be, I have seen replies from a few outlets saying 'soon' after the CD release...
This and 4 Your Eyez Only. Like, STAT! ASAP! NOW!
Already waited too long for a vinyl release of this....
